9l is a lighthearted take on something truly magical in life. If someone wants a literal titel for this one, let’s call it Pineapple Head.

The painting takes onboard the manic phase of having fallen in love. We have all tried being utter fruit baskets all brimmimg with love and infactuation for someone. So here you have it visualised in one still image according to how I would sum it up personally.

As you have probably already noticed, the woman is kissing or anticipating a kiss.

In retrospect, there was not long deliberations over the background in the planning of this painting. The background colours are simply adjusted to the green top of the pineapple so as to create a harmony and to offer enough natural contrast to make green top of the pineapple clearly visible without stealing too much focus from the woman. When you use turquoise and cobalt teal paint like this, it has the added benefit of suggesting a light freshness to the whole composition.
